These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Electrician.city ("Platform", "Company", "we", "us"). By accessing or using this Platform you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Platform Purpose
Electrician.city operates as a marketing platform and professional directory connecting consumers ("Users") with independent electrical contractors ("Service Providers").
- We do NOT provide electrical services
- We are NOT licensed electricians
- We do NOT supervise electrical work
- We are NOT responsible for project outcomes
All service agreements are strictly between Users and Service Providers.
2. No Verification or Licensing Guarantee
Electrician.city does not independently verify:
- Electrical licenses
- Certifications
- Insurance policies
- Bonding status
- Regulatory compliance
Users must conduct their own verification before hiring any electrician.
3. AI & Pricing Information Disclaimer
Some data displayed on the Platform may be generated using automated systems or artificial intelligence including:
- Estimated electrical service pricing
- Provider rankings
- Project comparisons
- Service summaries
This information is provided for convenience only and may be inaccurate.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Electrician.city shall not be liable for:
- Electrical damage
- Fire hazards
- Equipment failure
- Contractor negligence
- Financial or business loss
Total liability is limited to $100 or the amount paid to the Platform during the previous 12 months.
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Electrician.city from claims arising from:
- Your use of the Platform
- Service Provider interactions
- Violation of applicable laws
6. Premium Listings & Subscriptions
- No guaranteed leads or customers
- Advertising exposure only
- Subscriptions may automatically renew
- Payments are non-refundable unless stated
- Listings may be removed at our discretion
7. Call Recording Disclosure
Calls placed through platform tracking numbers may be recorded for quality assurance, security, and compliance.
8. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
All disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration under AAA rules. Users waive the right to participate in class actions or jury trials.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
